Fabrication, installation & care
Fabrication & installation
- Fabrication, templating, cut-outs, edge profiles and installation are arranged by the Aria Stones team in Salisbury after you inspect the material and confirm the design.
- Each natural slab differs. We recommend viewing the actual material before committing, and planning joins and vein direction with the team.
- Final suitability depends on the specific slab, its finish and how the space will be used. The team will discuss this with you before any work proceeds.
Maintenance
- Marble is calcite-based and can etch with acidic substances such as citrus, vinegar, wine and some cleaners. Wipe spills promptly.
- Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemicals.
- Sealing helps resist staining but does not prevent etching. Ask the team about a suitable sealer and resealing interval for your surface.
- Use trivets and chopping boards on benchtops.
