Check exposure, expected loads, drainage, substrate and installation method for the exact paver. Do not infer driveway or pool suitability from material name or thickness.
Slip ratings matter
Ask for slip-test documentation relevant to the actual use, including wet barefoot areas where applicable. Different test methods measure different conditions; a single R rating is not a universal pool-safety approval.
