How to Choose a Diamond Blade for Stone

Begin with the material and operation, not a familiar-looking blade. This checklist helps identify a product for review; it does not replace the machine manual or blade instructions.

Record the machine and material

Write down the machine manufacturer, model and intended operation. Name the actual material, its thickness and whether the job is a straight cut, mitre or another operation. Do not assume a blade for one stone family is suitable for porcelain or natural quartzite.

For example, replacing a bridge-saw blade requires more than the old diameter: send the bore, machine model, material thickness and a photograph of the original label. Do not select a blade simply because it fits the shaft.

Check the manufacturer’s configuration

Match the product reference, diameter, bore and documented application. Confirm wet or dry operation, rotation and operating limits from the exact manufacturer instructions. Never infer a safe speed from a similar product or change a bore to make a blade fit.

Italdiamant’s Quarzite Plus family is a starting point for natural quartzite enquiries, not confirmation of a particular size or machine compatibility. Ask for the configuration required for your machine.

Send a complete request

Include quantity, the existing product reference and the result you are trying to achieve. If the label is unreadable, say so instead of guessing. The team can request the missing information before confirming price, supply and operating guidance.

Manufacturer references

Use the instructions for your exact product and machine. Linked ranges are not confirmation of compatibility.
